HOFA and Ferret Depot wish to thank everyone for coming out and helping us to make the 2008 Ferret Buckeye Bash such a great success!

The Ferret Buckeye Bash is the main fund raiser for HOFA's yearly operating expenses, rescue efforts, hospice care and public awareness campaigns. HOFA's efforts would not be possible without the kindness and generosity that all of you have afforded us by showing your support and coming to The Bash! We wish to express our gratitude to each and every one of you. (Continued below)

We especially wish to thank our many show sponsors and vendors that have helped to make the Ferret Buckeye Bash the premier show in the country. Each year the show grows and many turn out to see the fine products that our vendors have on display, much of it hand crafted. Many of the offerings this year were amazing!

We are very proud of what the show has accomplished and of our many members that have put so much time and energy into making the show a success. A great deal of effort goes into putting a show like this together. Many hours were spent driving, meeting, planning, coordinating, making, fixing, setting up and tearing down with the only reward being the satisfaction of knowing that they are building a better life for their four pawed fuzzy friends. Our hats go off to you!

A special thanks goes out to Scarlett Gray-Saling who founded this rescue organization many years ago and is now celebrating the passing of her 10th anniversary Ferret Buckeye Bash. Though she is undoubtedly much more relaxed this morning, she is probably already thinking about next year's show.

Last but certainty not least is an honorable mention for Jim Saling who put a great deal of effort into this show and in spite of all the challenges, always walked around with a smile on his face. Even while the show was on he did not relax. He was constantly on the move ensuring its success. Great job Jim!

September 2008 - General Meeting

By September 21st when you arrive for the general meeting the 2008 Ferret Buckeye Bash will be all but a memory.

HEY! Lets have a PARTY and CELEBRATE!

Join us for the bragging... and the agony of defeat. Let's talk about what went right, what went wrong, what we should do more of and what we really don't care about. Most of all - Lets have FUN! More details to follow.
